Ingredients

    Meatballs

  • 1 lb Silver Fern Farms Premium Ground Beef

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ small onion, finely diced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • To Assemble

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, each cut into small squares

  • ½ iceberg lettuce, sliced

  • ¼ cup burger sauce

  • 22 crinkle cut pickle slices

  • 22 cherry tomatoes

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Alternative cook meatballs in your air fryer

Step 2

In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until just combined.

Step 3

Roll into 1–1½" meatballs and place on the prepared sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.

Step 4

Remove meatballs from oven or air fryer, depending on preference.

Step 5

Place a square of cheddar on each hot meatball—letting it melt slightly.

Step 6

Top with shredded lettuce, a dollop of burger sauce, a pickle, and a cherry tomato.

Step 7

Secure each meatball with a toothpick or small skewer and serve.
